Cilantro Mint Chutney
A bright, tangy Indian-style chutney blending fresh herbs, yogurt, and a kick of jalapeño and ginger. Perfect as a dip or condiment for snacks and mains.
Ingredients

3 tablespoonlemon juice , fresh

1 bunchcilantro , tender stems ok

1 cupmint leaves , packed (2 x .75 ounce packages)

1jalapeno , medium, sliced

2 teaspoonginger , sliced

1 clovegarlic

kosher salt , 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, to taste

0.5 teaspoonsugar , or an alternative like honey or palm sugar

1 tablespoonwater , or just enough to get blender going, may not be needed (optional)
Instructions

Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Taste and adjust salt and lemon juice as needed.

For a thicker consistency, add desiccated coconut or peanuts if desired.
