Lemon Herb Garlic Marinade

Ingredients

    lemon , juiced and zested
  • 3 clove
    garlic , minced
  • 2 tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano , or thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp
    fresh rosemary , finely chopped
  • salt , to taste
  • black pepper , to taste
  • chicken thighs , as needed for marinating

    Combine lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil, honey, oregano or thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl or zip-top bag.

    Add chicken thighs and toss to coat thoroughly.

    Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours, or up to overnight if prepping ahead.

    Cook the thighs using your preferred method—grill, sear and bake, or pan-fry—until golden and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F.
